TO: MCSIG Members
MCSIG will not be scheduling any H1N1 clinics as planned. After multiple delays in procuring the vaccine and vaccine costs (administration) uncertainties, we will instead rely on the Monterey County Health Department to administer the H1N1 vaccine. The school based H1N1 clinics begin this Wednesday, January 13. Please see the schedule below for a convenient school site near you.
The federal government continues to encourage people to get vaccinated, as a third wave of H1N1 flu outbreaks is still possible and the traditional flu season does not end until spring.
The clinics are open to EVERYONE over the age of two (2) that would like to be vaccinated and are FREE.
H1N1 “Swine Flu” School Based Vaccine Clinics
Vaccine is for anyone who wants it over the age of 2. Vaccine will be free. Vaccine will be available on a first come first serve basis
